ANACORTES - Sehome's Austin Fish earned a rare distinction when he scored for the fourth consecutive year for a district team champion, but the Mariners can boast of at least a half-dozen or more young swimmers who seem likely to make the honor common in the next two years.
In other words, Sehome is loaded with state-caliber non-seniors, and then some.
Fish won the 200-yard individual
medley in a season-best 1 minute, 59.09 seconds and claimed the 100
backstroke in his high school best 54.36 - both district records -
in the Class 2A Northwest District Swimming and Diving
Championships on Saturday, Feb. 12, at Fidalgo Pool.
