Good job in Mt Airy, Swimmers!

Swimmers & Families,

It was nice to come back from my trip and find that the team had a great meet in Mt.Airy!  I was glad to see a lot of best times.  I hated to miss the meet, and I’m so happy to be back!  Be sure to look at the team display case near the Boys’ changing room.  It features pictures of the Swimmers of the Week, a list of All-Star Qualifiers, the All-Star Time Standards, and a list of Barrcuda Point Scorers.  I am so proud that we have had 73 swimmers score points at meets.  This is a great accomplishment!

This week we will be working on fine-tuning all of the strokes and doing some hard sprinting.  One of the best things about this week is that we are hosting our first meet on Saturday at the Middletown High School pool.   I look forward to seeing everyone work together to make it a successful event.  Please sign up your swimmer for the meet by Tuesday at noon.  Remember, you are allowed to enter FOUR individual events.

Coach Rogers: That was a fun meet.  I saw people doing flip turns and finishing into the wall properly.  There were many best times earned on Saturday – some by huge leaps!  Wow, that was great.

Coach Chelsea:  It was exciting to see everyone swim fast and to see all the new All-Star cuts.

Coach Kameryn:  I love how much enthusiasm and team spirit all of our young swimmers have.  We had another amazing week!

Coach Oksana:  Everyone worked extremely hard against this tough team!  I’m so proud of everyone!

Coach Eric:  Great times and 110% effort.
