New Faces on BCST Staff

As we get ready to launch another swim season, we’ve armed ourselves with some new key hires to help improve upon this past year’s successes.  Long time BCST swimmers/coaches Brett Bogachus and Danielle Palumbo will be taking on different roles with the BCST staff as the two head back to school.  Brett will stay on as a substitute coach and will still be available for private lessons and Danielle will solely coach the silver groups.

To help pick up the slack, we’ve hired Janna Hagensick to coach the Gold and Blue groups.  Janna grew up in Munster Indiana, where she was a High School All American swimmer.  She ended up swimming for the University of Illinois where she earned a Masters of Architecture.  Janna has coached for multiple years at both the High School and Club level.  She brings a wealth of knowledge, and possesses a “teach first” style of coaching that fits our staff perfectly and will really benefit the Gold and Blue swimmers.

The other new face (or not that new to some) is that of Sarah Cox.  Sarah has been hired to be the new Office Administrator, and she’ll work out of the Head Coach’s office.  She will be in charge of registration and billing to start, with her job constantly evolving day to day. Sarah is the mother of Caitlin Cox, a HS Senior who is in our SR Elite Group.  This will be the 8th year that Sarah and the Cox family will be affiliated with the BCST.

Please welcome both additions to the BCST staff as they both will play iatrical roles in  BCST for this year and down the road.
