PARKING

 General parking is available at Grace United Methodist Church located west of the pool and within a short walking distance.  We will notify you if there are limitations to access the church parking area.  Street parking is available on Strawflower Court, Clover Hill Road, Clover Hill Court, and Hendley Road.  Please do not block driveways or mailboxes.  There is a drop off area in the circular entrance in front of the Wellington Clubhouse off Wellington Road.

Do not park in yellow-curb marked areas on public streets and in our parking lot as these represent fire lanes.  Also, be mindful of the proper distance cars must park from an intersection. The Manassas City Parking Enforcement tends to patrol our area when we host large meets.

TEAM AREAS

The parking lot and grassy area in front of the pool is available for team set-up.  Limited shade is available.  Teams are strongly encouraged to sit together in the designated areas and to provide their own shade tents.  Please consult the map for your team’s assigned area.

ON DECK

Due to the large number of swimmers and families, no unauthorized persons will be allowed on the deck between the Clerk of Course area and the start end of the pool. 

GENERAL MEET RULES

According to PWSL regulations body and hair paint is not permitted.  Swimmers may not swim if their bodies or hair have marker paint on them.  If it can be washed off they will be permitted to swim after the paint or marker is removed. 

CLERK OF COURSE

The Clerk of Course for Girls will be in the baby pool area.  The Clerk of Course for Boys will be next to the shallow end of the pool.  Signs indicating events being called will be posted along the fence facing the parking lot.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Warm-ups:

6:00 – 6:20 am Wellington

6:20 – 6:40 am Westridge

6:40 – 7:00 am Brookside

6:15 A.M. – Stroke and Turn Judges and Referees meet with Head Referee in the Clubhouse.

6:30 A.M. – Timers and recorders meet with Head Timer by the main starter machine. 

Clerk of Course volunteers, including the position A Deck Runners (see description of Deck Runners below), meet with Head Clerk of Course at baby pool Clerk of Course area.

7:00 A.M. --   Referees meet with Head Coaches

7:10 A.M. –   Relays assemble, National Anthem and Official Meet Opening.

7:15 A.M. –   Meet begins – GOOD LUCK TO ALL SWIMMERS!!!!
