Indiana Swimmers set American Records at the Pan Pacific Para-Swimming Championships

3 Indiana athletes participated in the Pan Pacific Para Championships held at Rose Bowl Aquatic Center August 6-10 in Pasadena California which included athletes from over 20 nations including USA, Australia, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, New Zealand, China.

New American Records were set by Evan Austin in the 100 Butterfly S8 and the 50 Freestyle S8. 

Dalton Herendeen set a record in the 100 Breaststroke SB8. 

Lizzi Smith - 2nd 100 Fly - S9 - 112.72, 1st 50 Free - S9 - 30.27, 3rd 100 Back S9 - 113.68, 2nd 100 Free - S9 - 103.49, 1st - 400 Free Relay

Evan Austin - 2nd 100 Fly - S8 - 107.29 (American Record), 3rd 50 Free - S8 - 29.82 (American Record), 3rd 100 Free - S8 - 104.94, 2nd 100 Breast - SB7 - 123.95, 4th 200 IM - SM8 - 240.77, 2nd 400 Medley Relay, 3rd 400 Free Relay

Dalton Herendeen - 3rd 400 Free - S10 - 420.75, 2nd 100 Breast - SB8 - 116.11 {American Record}, 6th 200 IM - SM10 - 218.53, 2nd 200 Medley Relay.
