Lap-A-Thon Rocks

Wow what a great start the Friday November 7th swim turned out to be. So many laps so little time! Most of the time swimmers have up to two hours to do laps to make their goals. Our team did great work in swimming out the laps, starting with Robert and Andrew the four year olds with 24 laps, and the numbers just climbed! If you were not able to swim in the pre and post days, you can also just keep track of laps in practice as your number. Remember to write out receipts for the friends and family so that they have the tax id number, under SOLO Swim Club!

A special thank you to the Garff family on putting together such an outstanding event! Michelle took charge of getting together a wonderful set of awards, and made the day first class all the way! The parents that came out to support the children also were a key part of the story! Thank you for counting laps and chasing kids on the deck while cleaning up after the event. It is just a reminder of how lucky we all are, in having such a strong program with our parents leading the way!
