It’s everyone’s favorite week…Butter fly week!
Bring your “A” game and let's work those big sets.
The High School IASAS Exchange team will be getting off one day of Butterfly pain, as they rest up after returning home yesterday from a very successful meet in Singapore. Our freshman boys really surprised the coaches from other teams and really got their attention as they took first and second in both of the breaststroke events. Both girls and boys teams showed that they will be a force to reckon with in January when we host the IASAS Championships.
This week is also long course training week. Our weekend meet at RBSC is long course so we will have the pool at the full 50 meters to prepare for that.
With Winter break coming up sooner than we think, I will put out a schedule for winter practices and will have the sign up sheet out for those of you sticking around Thailand. The last week before school starts will have practices every day.
This Friday, November 27th we have a High School spirit day rally at ISB. For this, Patana will be visiting and competing against our high school swimmers. So because of this, all 11/12 and 13/14 swimmers will practice at the 25 m pool this Friday at their regular time.
This Saturday, November 28th is ISB Nancy Crosser Aqua-thon, so there will be no Saturday practice. But it is my hopes that anyone who practices on Saturdays would enter the Aqua-thon instead. Great cross training!
Next week has early dismissal on Tuesday Nov 2; so all practices are one hour earlier. Friday December 5th is also the King’s Birthday and there will be no practices on this day at any times.
Meet signups available:
Long distance Time Trials (Senior Swimmers 11 & over) December 8th 2:30:
Please make schedule changes and plan to attend this time trial no matter what training days you have. This is a great opportunity to swim events that we normally don’t get to.
That is all for now, see you on deck!
