When you register your coaches on the national database (www.ymcacompetitiveswim.org), you still need to upload your certificates onto the website to provide proof of your certifications. Please do not send them to me-- upload-- please!! All coaches need to be updated by February 1, 2015 at the latest, per Y-USA. (Fun Fact: I will be unavailable from 1/24-1/31/15, so if you are gonna get in a pickle, please do so before 1/24 if you may need my help).
Please make sure your certifications will be current through the end of the swim season (4/3/15). Once your certifications are uploaded and verified, you'll see a little "V" next to them in the database.
Remember, to be allowed onto the deck at a sanctioned meet, you need to have your Y-USA Coaches deck pass. I would HIGHLY recommend that you complete your registration at least 3 weeks before you would need your pass. The $30/ team coaches fee will also need to have been received for your deck passes to go out.
I plan to send out batches of deck passes on 12/9, 12/23, 1/6, 1/20 & the very last batch will go out on 2/3.
