Weekly News (New Years Edition)

Hello Panthers,

Happy New Year! It is my hopes that you have all had great time off and are all rested for the weeks of training ahead. For returning members practice starts this Monday, we have made a “slight” adjustment to starting and finishing times for our training session, which I think will be better for the team as a whole. Please see below for details.

Important Notes:

Registration for returning swimmers will open up January 12th and will stay open until January 23rd.

Tryouts will run the first week of school (Monday-Thursday) at 2:30/50m pool

Schedule Changes:

Practice start and finish times: We will be adjusting the start and finish times by 5 minutes.

10 and under swimmers: 2:25-3:25

11 and over swimmers: 3:35- 5:05

We have changed this so our coaches can have time to start the 11 and over swimmers in a better fashion. Giving them time to discuss the practice and supervise their dynamic warm up.

Tuesday and Thursday morning practices (5:30-6:30): These will start up again this week. If enough swimmers do not attend them we will have to look at discontinuing them again.  ISB also now has 5:30am lap swim for teachers and students, so this is available to all swimmers also. There is a lifeguard on duty now.

Meet signups available:
