16 swimmers took the 3 1/2 hour trip down to Battle Creek to compete last weekend and even though it was a small group they swam unbelievable leaving the meet with 10 new JO cuts 1 new state cut and many swims just off of JO or State cuts.  This might have been one of our best performances of the year so far with all of the new cuts and huge time drops.  Here is a list of some of the unbelievable performances.

Noemie: 7 out of 7 BT

Avery: 6 out of 9 BT with new JO cuts in the 100 free dropping over 4 seconds, 50 free and 100 fly in her first time swimming the event.

Grey: 7 out of 8 BT and just missing two JO cuts by .3 in the 100 back and 1.1 in the 200 back

Camryn: 6 out of 8 BT and dropped over 11 seconds in her 200 free

Campbell: 2 out of 4 BT

Erin: 9 out of 9 BT with new JO cuts in the 50 back were she dropped 3 sec, 50 fly and 100 back were she dropped 6.5 sec.  She also dropped almost 28 sec in her 500 free and missed her first state cut in the 50 free by .9

Billy: 5 out of 8 BT and a new JO cut in the 200 fly is first time doing it in a USA meet and dropped 15 sec in the 200 IM

Ethan: 6 out of 8 BT dropping over 33 sec in the 200 IM and almost 20 sec in the 200 free

Ella: 7 out of 7 BT dropping over 14 sec in the 200 IM and 100 IM

Ali: 7 out of 8 BT and dropped 55 sec in the 1650

Maeve: 7 out of 9 BT earning her first JO cut in the 100 breast, dropped 8 seconds in the 200 free and also just missed a JO cut in the 50 breast by .05 sec

Leah: 10 out of 10 BT dropping 7 sec in the 100 fly and over 15 sec in the 500 free for her first short course state cut

Mally: 6 out of 9 BT dropping 7 sec in the 200 IM, JO cut in the 50 free and missed the 11-12 yr old age group JO cut in the 200 breast by less then a sec

Outstanding performance by all and less keep the momentum up as we head into the last two months of the short course season.
