GRNDS Meet Recap

The Great swims continue to come for the Breakers this year.  In our second meet in just a month 28 swimmers competed in the GRNSA open meet in Grand Rapids.  By the end of meet we had 12 swimmers earn 13 JO cuts and 2 new state cuts.  Here are some of the outstanding performances of the meet.

Alexa dropped over 50 seconds in 400 IM and just missed her first JO cut

Avery was 6/9 for BT dropping 13 sec in the 200 IM and swimming a JO cut in the 50 back and her first 10 year old State cut in the 100 fly as a 9 year old

Claire B. was 7/8 for BT and earned a JO cut in the 200 IM

Camryn was 7/8 for BT and dropped over 11 seconds in the 100 breaststroke

Campbell was 4/8 for BT

Matt was 8/8 for BT dropping 11 seconds in the 200 IM and 10 in the 20 free.  He also earned JO cuts in the 100 back and 100 fly and just missed his first 10 year old state cut in the 100 back by .5 second as a 9 year old

Erin dropped 10 seconds in the 200 IM and earned a JO cut in the 50 fly and her first 10 and under state cut in the 500 free

Billy earned a JO cut in the 1000 free

Ethan was 4/8 in BT and dropped 52 seconds in the 200 back and earning a JO cut

Ryan was 4/4 in BT with a JO cut in the 50 fly

Cassidy was 2/3 in BT dropping 6 seconds in the 50 free

Sydni was 4/4 in BT dropping 5 seconds in the 100 free

Ella was 5/8 in BT dropping 12 seconds in the 100 back and 26 seconds in the in 200 free

Ali was 4/7 in BT dropping 11 seconds in the 500 free and earning her first JO cut in the 1000 free the first time swimming the race

Logan was 6/8 in BT dropping 13 seconds in the 200 IM and earning a JO cut in the 50 back

Meike was 4/8 in BT

Tim was 8/8 in BT and earned his first JO cut in the 100 back

Maeve S earned a JO cut in the 50 breast

Leah 7 seconds in the 100 breast for a JO cut

Great swimming to all that attended the meet and lets keep the great swims coming as we head into championship meets next month.
