Good Luck, Rob!!

Parents and Swimmers,

It is with much regret and sadness that our Head Age Group Coach Rob McCabe has submitted his resignation, and will be taking over the Age Group Coaching responsibilities with another team. We are, of course, very sad to see Rob leave, but we understand that he was offered a great opportunity, and we wish him the best of luck in his new position.

Rob has been with us for over 13 years as the AG Gold and Master’s coach, as well as filling the role of Business Manager for the past ten years. His time with the club has been greatly appreciated, and Rob will be greatly missed by the coaches, parents, and, most importantly, swimmers that he has worked with on the club.

Moving forward, we are confident we have a plan to continue to offer one of the best and most comprehensive swim clubs in the State for all of our athletes. As we begin the search for a new Age Group coach, I will be coaching the AG Gold group, as well continuing with the AG Bronze group. I will also be working with the Senior Red/Blue three days each week. Nick Rudich will be the lead coach of the Senior group and take over many of the Business Manager duties, and will be assisted by Kate Brittain with the Senior group. Our Novice, AG Silver and Senior White groups will not change.

Our schedule while the pool is down in April will stay the same as published, and we are in the process of developing a new schedule once we have our “normal” pool time again on April 27th. I plan to meet with any interested AG Gold parents on our first day of the Long Course season, Monday, March 23rd, to help answer any questions that you may have.

I know many of you will have questions as we implement these changes. I will be out of state at the Junior National meet all next week, and will return any phone calls or e-mails when I am able. Please feel free to contact Board President Paul Dix ([email protected]) or any other Board member to help answer your questions while I am gone.

Once again, we sincerely thank Rob for his many years of service with the club, and wish him the best of luck as he moves into his new position.
