New Team records set at early LC Opener

An early Long Course meet for Desert Thunder showed the hard work put in through the winter. Three swimmers posted new team records during the Phoenix Long Course Opener. Emily Dodd, entering the last meet as a nine year old broke two 50 records in 9 year old 50 back and 50 fly. Vince Hemingway made a sweep of events setting new records in the 13-14 boys 100 and 200 breaststrokes and the 200 IM, while Marina McInelly erased a 2002 record in the 15-16 girls 100 Breaststroke.

Congratulations to all the fine swims at our openning LC meet! Go Thunder!
