There are two (2) upcoming official’s clinics. Both are being presented by Indiana Swimming Northern Official’s Rep. George Behrens. The 1st will be this Thursday, June 4th at 6pm in the Munster Aquatics Center classroom. This is an Admin Official’s clinic (the dry side of officiating i.e. running the computers). The 2nd will be on Wednesday June 10th also at Munster HS. This is a Stroke and Turn/Technical clinic (the wet side of officiating i.e. the officials on the start and turn ends). Due to the limited scheduled number of clinics, I recommend that anyone interested in officiating attend both clinics.
Please E-mail me at [email protected] ASAP of your intent to attend. George has requested the number of participants to insure adequate materials are available.
Why become a swim official? As a parent of a swimmer, you have the opportunity to get involved with your children and their sport in a significant way. LCB & Indiana Swimming needs trained officials to provide fair and equitable competition for all swimmers.
LCB will reimburse your expenses to become an Official once you are 100% certified by Indiana Swimming.
