Eight Barracuda Swim Team members competed in the Leinster Divions 1 gala over the bank holiday weekend.  Over the three days of competition they swam in 28 races, achieved 25 (some spectacular) personal best times, swam in 5 finals, had 12 top 10 finishes and won 3 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals.  It was a long but very rewarding weekend of racing and we had a lot of very happy swimmers and coaches going home.  It was a great achievement for these 8 swimmers to qualify to compete in this event.  Last year we had 3 swimmers competiting and this year we had a total of 12  some of who could not compete due to illness and injury and we wish them a speedy recovery.
