Arkansas Swimming Represented Nationally

Arkansas swimmers have produced NAG Records, National Age Group Top 10 Rankings and Olympic Trials Cuts for the 2014-15 USA Swimming’s fiscal swimming season which began September 1st.

Andrew Rogers of the Arkansas Dolphins began setting the Boys 10 & Under Short Course Yards 100 Butterfly National Age Group record in 59.81 at the 2014 NT COR Winter Classic December 6th.  He continued to break his record throughout the Short Course season and ended with his fastest NAG record in 59.44 during a Time Trial at the Arkansas Short Course Age Group Championships March 13th, 2015.

He also set the Long Course 10 & Under NAG record in 1:05.98 during the finals breaking his previous record of 1:06.52 during prelims at the 2015 NT LAC Bill Nixon Memorial June 13th.

Turning 11, he then sets the Top Time for 11 year old boys in the 100m Fly in 1:06.25 during the 2015 SE Richard Quick Invitational June 28th.  As of today, August 6th, he currently is Ranked # 1 in the nation for 11 year old boys 100m Fly.  He currently holds Top 10 times in the 200m Fly (2), 400m IM (5), 400m Free (8) and 200m IM (9).

This coming 2015-16 season will be an exciting year as we get closer to the Rio Olympics hopefully adding to the Arkansas Olympic Trial Qualifiers, Top 10 National Age Group Rankings and continuing to see Arkansas Swimming Records breaking as our Swimmers get faster.
