Weekly News (Oct 26th to 31st)

Hello Panthers,

I hope everyone had a restful October break. Those swimmers that attended the IHOP training camp last week had fun while working hard and improving their swimming at the same time. What a way to spend time off school.

We are now 3 weeks away from our first big meet of the year. It looks like we will have close to 1000 swimmers competing at Swimfest, so we want to be at our best to host this event.  So let’s make sure we don’t miss any training days and come ready to work hard.

Important Notes:

Swim-a-thon: October 29th 2:30 for 10 and under, 3:30 for 11 and over

We have four days left to try and help Second Chance Bangkok as much as we possibly can. Please use this time to get a few more pledges and make this event as worthwhile as possible.

10 and under swimmers will swim for one hour (2:30-3:30). We will have the Jr. treats and awards immediately after they get out of the water.

11 and over swimmers will swim for 2 hours (3:30 – 5:30). When they finish we will also have their eats and prize awards.

Please bring your flat rate pledges to the pool on this day. Then please collect your per/meter pledges by the end of the following week.

Here is a link to more information about everything Second Chance Bangkok does.  Great photos and stories to share you’re your swimmers. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/v65j65t7jjmggj3/AAAxzLJWjlTetosuEYlgNWLta?dl=0

This year we are going to try something different. We are going to have our first ever Panther Swim Team Movie Night! Right after school we have book all of the MPB’s and will be showing swim movie “Touch The Wall”. Swimmers will be sitting together in multi-age groups and eating healthy fun snacks. Bring your pillows and PJs if you want, let’s make it a big party!
