BSC New Facebook Page:  Thanks Amanda DeMello for getting our new facebook site up & running!  *Like our public page for more general information at @Brookings Swim Club;   * or friend us for mere detailed updates @ Brookings Swim;  * and if you have something you would like to post (like photos or information for the club), you can email to:

Swimmer Banquet:  Our swimmer Banquet & Recognition will be held on Sunday, April 3.  Josh Sorbe has graciously offered to coordinate the team slideshow this year.  Pease send Josh pictues, videos for the slideshow by Tuesday, March 15.  You can email them to Josh at, or share with them via Google Drive or Dropbox.  The more photos we get...the better the slideshow will be!

Swimmer Group Moves:  Wendy and I will be meeting early this week to go over swimmers we want to move to another group.  We plan to email these 'graduations' by end of this week.  Group moves are always a hot topic of conversation at the beginning and conclusion of each season.  Who is moving up? Who is staying where they are and why?  I want everyone to know the coaches sit down and discuss each swimmer in our program and what we feel is in their best interest.

Good luck at Sectionals!:  Best of Luck to Elizabeth Moriarty, Cain Lounsbery, Josh & Kyle Sorbe, and Mark Vanderzee at this weekends (March 10-13) Sectional Meet in Pleasant Prairie, WI.

State Meet Results:  WOW...What an amazing meet this past weekend!!!  Brookings won the SD State Championships Percentage Award!   We averaged 3.34 points per splash!  Next closest club was 2.7.  Our 13-14 Girl's (Kara Mette, Shawna Rumpza, Grace Vanderzee, Grace Heier) broke the SD State Meet & Overall State Records in the 200 Medley Relay!  We had 14 new qualifying times for this coming weekends Sectional Meet.  I just received all the results and will be sending out more updates later today or tomorrow.  Once again....amazing swimming by BSC!!!
