This PASA Meet featured some suprise guests as the Stanford Mens Swimming Team stopped in to get ready for the OlympicýTrials! Of course our athletes were able to learn from the high powered swimmers. When talking with a couple breaststroke swimmers, one Stanford standout told our swimmers how important being in a streamline was in the stroke. Coach Tom pointed out the rule of thumb for breaststroke. Our swimmers did not seem to know what that was. So back to the pool we go! The rule of thumb is to keep your hands together until your feet touch on each of the strokes!
A special thank you to Lara K for helping to fill the SOLO timing lane on Sunday. We are assigned a timing lane based on numbers of swimmers. Also a big high five to Carson S who took home the "Swimmer Of The Meet Award" by dropping time in all six races. And nice swims from Nathalie, Adrian, Lara, Elena, Aadi, Siddh, Drew and Alexandra to also join in the fun of fast swimming!ý
