Committee Chair Needed

Hi Piranha Families,

We are still in need of a chair person to coordinate the setup volunteers for each home meet. There are 5 home meets to coordinate, this position takes care of your families full committee and volunteer requirements.
The setup takes less than an hour and clean up similar, the benefit to this is you are not distracted during any of the meets from watching the racing, you get to see 100% of the events and won't miss any of your swimmers races. 
The junior coaches also take care of the lane lines on setup and tear-down.
The role of the setup volunteers is:
  • Prepare and dismantle the pool for all home swim meets. Includes putting in backstroke flags, arranging tables and seating for concessions, timekeeping, computer, and spectator areas. Saturday meet set up is completed on Friday evening and Wednesday meets are completed in the afternoon.
The coordinator is to contact the volunteers in the days leading up to the event and oversee the setup and tear-down. Someone from the board we will help out initially, so if you are new to the team you can still take this on and we'll work with you to make sure everything runs smoothly.
