Practices at PTHS

Dear PTAC Families,

We are so happy to announce that practices will resume in our pool tomorrow, Wednesday, October 12, 2016.  The Board appreciates your continued patience.  We would like to thank Mr. Hetrick, our school district, and especially Coach Babik who guided this process and helped with the vision of our renovated facility, It looks amazing!

We have a few new procedures to follow as far as entering the pool area and parking.  You will now park in the side (Black Lot) which is to the side of the Athletic Complex, or the Front Lot.  You will enter through the main Gym doors and swimmers can access the pool through the doors by the deep end.  Parents will walk around  through the new hallway between the pool and new fitness center and then enter the stands through the old door in the back hallway. Do not park in the back or enter through the old back entrance by the Tennis Courts. You may use the front circle drive in front of the Athletic complex for drop off or pick up BUT you cannot remain in your car parked there waiting for your swimmer.

PTAC Boys will use the old Boys locker room which has been remodeled.  PTAC Girls will currently use the new Girls locker room which in on the Visitor side of the pool deck until our old Girls locker room is finished being remodeled.  Please remind your swimmer to keep bags on deck as was our previous policy. There are new restrooms for parents and families in the hallway between the pool and fitness center.  Families do not need to go into the locker rooms to use the restroom any longer.

The file box from the pool office will be placed near the door that the swimmers enter to the deck for your convenience as the pool office is still being worked on.

We will have several Board members available this week to help guide through this new process.

Please continue to check the News and Calendar for upcoming Suit Fitting Night and Team Picture Night.  Additionally, an email for Pre Aqua helpers will be sent in the next few days to swimmers who are in 8th grade or older.

Again, thank you all for your support and understanding and we hope that this season turns out to be as great as our new facility!
