Letter from our club President - Eddie Lo

Dear Members,

The club is looking better after 3 work parties and Work Party #4 is this Saturday, May 13. We will start at 8AM and will conclude in the early afternoon.  We will need to focus on the locker rooms and the office as well as finishing up the pressure washing of the lower pool deck and the tennis courts.  We will need to set up the diving blocks and vacuum the pool one more time so that we will be ready for swim practices. Come down and work off your maintenance hours. We may only have one more work party after this one!  We are in need of pressure washers this Saturday.  We can also use help with clearing brush away from the fence around the property. If you have power equipment to make that easier, please bring it.

Preseason practices start on Monday, May 15 with the 15 and over group from 3:30-4:30 and the 7-14 group from 4:30-5:30 (Moonday - Thursday). Speedy sixer practices start on Tuesday, May 23 and will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00-5:30 until school gets out. All membership dues and swim team fees MUST be paid on or before the first day of swim practice. We will have Board Members available at the pool on both 5/15 and 5/16 starting at 2:45PM and through practices to accept payment. Also, you can email Linda and Sarah at if you would like to make arrangements to either send in a check or pay by credit card. It would help to pay early to avoid the hassle at the first swim practice.

The highly coveted premier and swim meet only parking spots that were offered today are selling fast!  Please contact Linda Budinich You snooze, you lose!

June 3rd will be our Time trials and it will start with warm ups at 7AM. The time trials will finish around 11AM-12PM.  We will have a little break and the Opening Day parade will start at 1PM. Open swim will be from 1:30-5PM and food will be served from 2-4PM.

We are asking the membership to try to find sponsors for the club this summer.  The email that was sent out about a month ago outlines the sponsorship levels as well as the incentive for the member who brings in the sponsor. If you have questions, just email me.

I am excited to announce that our own Curtis Condotta will be our Water Polo Head Coach. He will be available on opening day to answer questions and talk about his plans for the season!

Please invite friends and family to Opening Day and try to bring a family that you would want to be a member too!

See you Saturday!

Eddie Lo
