Ben Ludlow attends University at Buffalo Swim Camp
June 26, 2017
Ben Ludlow (Geneseo) will be attending the Buffalo Swim Camp at the University at Buffalo the week of June 25 through June 29. While at UB Ben will further develop his technique in all phases of swimming, meet new friends and if it is even possible, become a faster swimmer. Best of luck, Ben. We are sure you will have a blast!!!
Below is a run down of what Ben will be learning while at UB.....
The Buffalo Swim Camp places a heavy emphasis on developing proper technique. The morning swimming sessions are geared towards swimming 25’s and 50’s, working on specific parts of each stroke. The afternoon swimming sessions will review the swimming drills and include a training set. During each session, we will focus on starts and turns. There are plenty of coaches on deck so that swimmers will receive constant positive feedback on what they are doing well, and what they need to improve. During the morning swimming session, each swimmer will be video taped so he/she can watch their stroke in the afternoon before getting back into the water. When the swimmers are not in the water, they will watch swimming videos, listen to stroke technique lectures, and have fun playing games that focus on the mental side of competing.
