Emily Massengale Competes at the 2017 Deaf Olympics

Emily Massengale competed in the 2017 Deaf Olympics from July 20th to 26th in Samsun, Turkey

Emily competed on all 6 days of the meet dropping lots of time in all of her events and saving her best for the last 2 days where she swam to bronze medal finishes in the 400 IM and 200 back. Emily also swam to a 5th place finish in the 100 back setting a new Deaf American Record .   Emily dropped 18 seconds in her 400 IM from her best time this summer and she dropped almost 8 seconds in her 200 IM. Here are the events she swam and finishes at the Meet. All individual events were prelim/final events.
