Weekly News (Post Swimfest)

Hello all Panthers,

Wow, what a weekend! Swimfest 2017 this past weekend was a huge success by any measurement. Thanks to all the parents that worked so hard this weekend to make sure our swimmers had the opportunity to perform at their best. Thanks also to all of our athletes that swam unbelievably. Please let them know how proud their coaches are each and everyone of them.

Please remember that today's practices are cancelled for a day of rest and catching up of homework. Enjoy the moment of rest.

Important Notes:

Swimfest Super Fast Times (New Team Records):

Seven times this past weekend, one of our swimmers swam a race faster than anyone before them. Here are our new records:

Hughs Hong: 8 and under 25 back, 25 Fly

Ada Tieanworn: 9 & 10 50 fly

Pippin Kantakom: 100 IM and 100 free

Tar Tar Jarusinchai: School Records for 100 fly and 100 back

Time to Support our High School Team:

This week ISB is hosting a first time ever event…

IASAS vs. APAC Swimming Championships Nov 17/18

IASAS and APAC are considered two of the strongest swimming High School conferences in International School circles. Both conferences combine for almost half of the current fastest ranked International School Swimmers. ISB has 2 of them!

So this weekend, these two conferences will be swimming as two teams. Each conference will combine all of their swimmers and swim together, head-to-head against the other conference.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS RELAYS:

This whole event kicks of Friday night with a relay only event. Starting at 6:30 (under the lights) we will have the relay portion of this event. All teams will be combined and it will be very, very fast. All our yummy food vendors will be out and we would love to see many of our Panther Swim Teams families out supporting these harding working athletes. There will be 4x50 Free relay, 4x50 Medley Relay and 4x100 Free Relay.

SATURDAY INDIVIDUAL EVENTS:

On Saturday there will be a AM session and a PM session of individual events that you can come and watch. I will email out an exactly schedule of events and times later this week as we finalize the program.

We look forwarding to seeing you out at the pool, the event promises not to disappoint.
