Dear Campo Swim Families,
Our season begins this week with our first meet on Friday 3/9 at home versus Cal High. Please remember to check the job sign ups if you haven't already signed up for your 3 shifts. If you are working a shift at this meet, we swim rain or shine so come prepared. We will have tents over the timing chairs. Please check in with Linda O'Brien on deck by 3:15pm for your shift. If you signed up to donate items for the snack shack, all items can be dropped off in the conference/community room on the deck near the boys' locker room. PLEASE label your donation items with your name. If you are bringing snack shack items specifically for this meet, those items can be dropped off in the snack shack which is just past the girls' locker room. Please label your items as well.
All swimmers will swim in the meet on Friday. Coaches will let swimmers know what events they will swim and whether or not they will swim Varsity or JV events. Snack Shack will have snacks, baked goods, hot chocolate, coffee, cup-o-noodles, and take out Chinese food for sale. In order to be more environmentally sensitive, we will no longer provide our swimmers with bottled water at home meets. We will still provide bottled water at all away meets.
Team photo is Wednesday, March 7 on deck beginning at 3:15pm. All swimmers will receive their team t-shirt on Wednesday. Other apparel items will also be available for pick up on Monday. If you are available to help Kim Younger with handing out items, please contact her directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. Team photo as well as individual and buddy photos are also available for purchase. Photo package form can be found here or in last week's team news posted on the team site.
