That was a great way to start the regular season. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped make the meet a success. Another thanks to those that helped flip and serve pancakes on Wednesday night.
While the Hurricanes did not come out winners we did see some great swims and very nice team sportsmanship and even one team record broken. Liam Lavedas set a new team record swimming the 8&Under boys 25 meter butterfly in 18.32 betting the record set by Jack Pechin in 2015. That time was also the best in that event across the league this week, CONGRATS Liam. The final score of the meet was DVS 3006 to BHST 2142, next week the Hurricanes travel to Victory Lakes look for the signup email, and don’t forget to sign up swimmers and VOLUNTEERS.
Results from the meet can be seen using this link - MEET RESULTS.
One last thank you to Advantage Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation for sponsoring the meet, look for a gift from APTR in your folders this week.
See you on deck.
