Good Sportsmanship

Be a role model for every swimmer. Be respectful and kind to every parent, guardian, spectator, volunteer and coach.  This is NOT specific to our team.  Good sportsmanship starts by being shown to the opponent.  Examples:

  • Timers: every swimmer can be complimented, “good swim”
  • Clerks: every swimmer can be told to “have a good race”

Smiles and High Fives go a long way, “trash talk” and general rude behaviors have no place on the pool deck, or in any youth sport.

When I say, a team above all and above all a team, I mean swimmers, coaches, volunteers, families. So, let's be:  A team above all and Above all a team.
