2018 Season Wrap-up

Swimmers & Families,

Coach Holly:  It’s the end of the season, and what a season it was!  We ended up in a three-way tie at the Divisional Meet and in our Division 3 overall.  When I look back on the season, things that stand out to me are things like Abby Losquadro’s last swim for Braddock, a 50 Fly.  We will miss her determination to never give up. And the improvement made by Maddox Hartner, from having to be helped out on his first race of the season to being willing to swim the last relay under awful weather conditions so he wouldn’t let down his teammates.  These swimmers  are examples of the reason I love the Braddock Heights Swim Team – kids overcoming their own adversities and contributing to the team.   Bravo, Barracudas!!   I hope to see you next year!

Coach Robby:  Awesome last meet and season!  It was great to have everyone working hard and it showed throughout the season!  I’m excited to see what next year has in store for us.  Have a great rest of your summer!

Coach Reilly:  Can’t believe the season is over already!  Way to finish the last meet strong!  I couldn’t have asked for a better group of kids or families this year.  So proud of what everyone accomplished this season and I can’t wait to see how much everyone grew next year!  Enjoy the rest of your summer and have a fabulous school year, Barracudas!

Coach Kayla:  Congratulations on a job well done, Barracudas!  I’m beyond proud of everyone who put forth their best effort, both at practice and during swim meets.  It makes me so happy to see the kids’ enthusiasm every day.  I loved working with all of the kids and watching them improve each week.  I hope to see everyone back next year!  Enjoy the rest of the summer!

Coach Lizzie:  All-Stars was the cherry on top of a fantastic season!  All the kids did amazing, and I couldn’t be prouder.  I’m going to miss each and every one of the swimmers, and I can’t wait ‘til next season!  Go Barracudas!

Coach Josh:  What a season, everyone!  I’m so proud of everyone for working hard this entire season.  I’ve been on this team for eight years now and this has definitely been my favorite.  This season was the most fun and unquestionably the most rewarding!!  It has been such a honor to coach al of you guys!!  I’m so grateful to all of the parents and swimmers for really making this a fun season.  I hope to see everyone next year – I can’t wait!!
