Weekly News (October 15-21)

Hello all Panthers,

Last week before the October break and it’s only a four day week at that! Let's start the week out right by having a great turn out for our swim-a-thon tomorrow. I want to see some 6000m swims and lots of baht raised for our Habitat for Humanity build here in Bangkok!

Important Notes:

Panther Swim-a-thon (Tuesday October 17th):

10 and under swimmers: 2:35-3:35

11 and over swimmers: 3:35-5:00

Please bring your pledge sheets and funds you raised. If you need to collect from people that pledged per lap, then you can bring it later in the week.

We have sticky rice, pork sticks and rice for after the swimming. Let’s see some big distances and have our kids really work up an appetite.

ISB Young Guns Continue to Dismantle Record Board:

Congratulations to Ada, Gene and Pippen for their hard work and effort that obviously is paying off with huge improvements in their times and performances.

There must be something in the water! Every time this group of 9-11 year old’s swim, they take down another piece of the record board. Last week was no exception: 8 record swim took place at our Paloozas. One swim even saw two girls both beat the record by over 5 seconds…wow.

October Break Pool Closed except for October 20th:

There will be Saturday practice on October 20th for those not on holidays yet. There will be no other swim times during the break.
