Shorewood Swim Club Partners with Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin
November 14, 2018
Shorewood Swimmers and Parents-
Shorewood Swim Club would like to recognize The Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin for their support of our club. In addition to providing volunteer shirts for home meet volunteers, they have provided the resistance equipment used for our swimmers participating in dry land exercise. Our dry land program was developed by Crystal Toll, PT at the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin and SSC parent. Dry land training programs are effective in injury prevention and performance improvement.
It is important to let coaches know if your swimmer is experiencing any swimming related aches or pains. Should the condition not improve with practice adjustment medical intervention may be recommended. The Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin offers quick access to physical therapists.
