Weekly News (April 1-7)

Hello all Panthers,

Congratulations to the boys for their first ever win in the “Girls vs Boys Battle”. It was very close in the end, but the boys held on to win the last two heats and take home the championship.

It was great to see so many PB swims by the older swimmers, as their race did not count if it was not a PB.

Important Notes:

Days off this month:

As we all know, this month has the two Thai holidays (Songkran and Chakri Day). Here are the changes in training for this month:

Saturday April 6th (Saturday swimming is still on)

Monday April 8th (No swimming and no school)

Saturday April 13th to Saturday April 20th (No swimming, Aquatics Centers are closed for staff holidays)

Alumni does well, congratulations:

The ISB Panther swim team is so proud of alumni member Tar Tar Jurasinchai as he competed this past week at the NCAA Swimming Championships in Greensboro, N.C.
Tar Tar competed individually in the 200 IM (1:52.91 SCY) and received All-American honorable mentions for his work on the boys 400 medley relay. As a freshman this is quite the honor.
The Tufts men’s team finished 10th overall, giving them their fourth straight top ten NCAA finish.

Last year we had over 30 family teams. Bring your whole families, everyone but the family dog is invited to come swim.

Start your training now! Sign up will be online before you know it!
