Swim Yukon announces 2019 Western Summer Games Coaches - May 2, 2019

Swim Yukon wishes to announce that Coach Julia Veidt has been selected to coach this year's Western Canada Summer Games (WCSG) team.
Bronwyn Pasloski will take on the role of Assistant Coach for the 2019 WCSG.
Julia and Bronwyn will coach the WCSG team from the end of the BC Championships (taking place from 4-7 July) up to and including the WSGames in Swift Current, SK. The swimming portion of the WCSG will take place from 9-13 August.
The WCSG team selection will be announced in the coming weeks, as per the Swim Yukon Swimmer Selection Criteria published in February. The coaching team is developing a training plan and schedule for the athletes, in order to prepare them for competition at this important event. More information coming soon! 

"Over 1,700 athletes, coaches, officials and mission staff from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Yukon and Nunavut will be attending the 10 days of competition. These athletes, ages 13 – 20 years old, are our country’s next generation of national, international, Olympic and Paralympic champions."
