Swim For the Girls Information
Hello PAC families,
Meet time is finally upon us. The BuxMont swim league plans many fun events throughout the course of the season.  This season, the league has decided to have a league wide "Swim for the Girls." Swim for the girls is a fun way to raise money for families affected by cancer.  During the meet on the 27th, boys will wear a girl's suit over their own to swim the breaststroke events.  Outside of the first heat, the league has agreed that breast stroke will not count as one of your events for the night - so if you don't normally swim breast stroke, that night you should!
Girls will bring a bathing suit for a boy to wear.  Label your suit so you get it back.  Colorful and fun tankinis and bikinis work best!  Also, feel free to share pink caps, paint your nails, and write encouraging "girl power" words on your caps or you swimmer!
Boys will put a girl's suit over their own and swim breast stroke.  It is foolish, we know, but when everyone joins in, it is hilarious!
Boys and girls will sign up online at .  You can donate funds to the breathing room online or we will be collecting donations at the meet on the 27th.  All checks should be made out to The Breathing Room.
Everyone wear pink to the swim meet to support this great event!
All donations collected will go to The Breathing Room.  The Breathing Room is a local organization that gives support to families affected by cancer.  They do such things as provide backpacks full of school supplies, transportation to appointments, mow lawns, provide a full refrigerator, holiday gifts, etc.  If you would like more information on the breathing room, you can visit their website

Thank you for your support! Go Gators!!
