Season Summary

Swimmers & Families,

I am always surprised at how quickly the swim season goes!  We had another great year, Barracudas!  I am proud of all of you, and the progress you have all made.  I’m grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community of swimmers and their families.  I appreciate all of the nice cards and gifts you all showered on all of us coaches.  It’s so nice of you, and we all thank you.  I hope that everyone enjoyed swimming, learned something and had fun this summer!

Coach Robby:   Great work at the last meet of the season!  There were more best times even after getting best times all season leading up to this point.  It’s incredible the hard work everyone has put in and it’s great seeing it all pay off.  Enjoy the rest of your summer and let’s do it again next year!

Coach Kayla:  Congratulations to the All-Stars who competed last weekend!     You all did an amazing job all season. I know some swimmers had another meet after for club team and still came and swam their best for Braddock.  It is much appreciated and always a fun time hanging out with all of the kids.  Our team always makes me smile when I see how much of a family everyone becomes at the end of the season.  I hope everyone will come back next year!  Enjoy your summer!

Coach Lizzie:  Wow, I can’t believe the season is over so quickly once again!  Coaching is always such a pleasure for me because of how amazing the kids are, and this year’s group did not disappoint!  I’m so proud of how well everyone did at the All-Star Meet, and of how everyone in general  did  this season.  Our team is special in how everyone supports everyone – such as the older kids cheering on the younger guys, and that’s what I love to see.  Anyways, thanks for making this part of my summer so much fun.  Good luck to everyone in whatever you are doing during the school year! One last time: GO BARRACUDAS!!

Coach Josh:  Great job and great season everyone!  I’m so proud of everyone and I don’t think I could have asked for a better last meet!  We had a great ride this season!  Can’t wait for the next one!!

Coach Sadie:  This last meet was a great way to end the season.  I hope everyone has a great summer and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone next year!

All-Star Meet   We did a great job at the All-Star Meet this year.  We had 24 swimmers participate, and many swimmers swam personal best times.  It was especially nice to see Coach Josh Baird swim so well at his last meet ever as a Barracuda.  It was a strong meet, so it’s noteworthy when we finish in the top 10 of an event.  Congratulations, All-Stars!

Final Notes

*All awards for the season are in the team box at the pool.  Team pictures are also in the box, but not in your folders – they’re at the end of the box.  Stop by and clean out your family folder any time before the pool closes.

*There’s a parade of teams in Middletown on Saturday, August 24 from 5-8pm.  It’s for all of the sports teams in the area.  We are going to have the banner there, and anyone who wants to participate should come join in the fun!  Wear a Barracuda swim team shirt or something blue.   More details will be sent out in an email.   Let’s show our Barracuda Pride!

Thanks everyone for a great season!  See you next year!

Go Barracudas!
