Weekly News (Sept 16-21)

Hello all Panthers,

What a great night we had last week at the Kickoff Gala. Over 240 swimmers and lots of family members joining in to cheer. I think the highlight for the kids was the dodge ball. Thanks to everyone who supported our first event. Volunteers, aquatics staff, coaches, B&G staff and our very own epicure for their great food.

I hope this is a sign of a great year to come. Now let’s get back to training and keep those Personal Best Swims coming in.

Important Notes:

Speeding tickets:

As I said in the intro, there were lots of PB swims last week. Four swims were so fast they set new team records. Congratulations to Noppavee, Pippen, Gene and Emma K. for setting records in their respective age groups. See the record board at the 50m pool for the details.

Get your “On Deck” App from the App store and take our webpage everywhere you go!

As stated at the parent talk last Wednesday night, our team webpage also comes in a App form. You can download it for free at your App store. It is called “OnDeck” and it does everything the webpage does. You will need our team alias to sign up and it is: reczzipstth

Reminder: no adults in the changerooms

Just a reminder to all that the student change rooms are for students only. Please do not have helpers or parents going into the change rooms to help the swimmers change. We have individual toilets if your swimmer needs help.

New Panther Swim Team Merchandise was a hit: We sold so much of everything:

Thanks to our Panther Swim Shack Committee this year, the team will have quite a bit more cool merchandise to help us show our team spirit and show our team support. We will have these out for sale at all of our inhouse swim meets this year as well. If you really need something you can always get it daily from the 50m pool. Just ask Coach Day.

This includes:

- New hats and visors (adult and kids sizes)

- Foldable umbrellas

- Foldable shopping bags

- Beach Bags

-Fridge Magnets

-Key Chains

Ordering more shirts;

I am afraid we did not count on having over 150 8&under swimmers this year and we ran out of our small team shirts. We have put a rush order in and will have them asap. Our extra caps should arrive this week for those that did not get them.
