Weekly News (October 7-13)

Hello all Panthers,

We are coming off a busy weekend for many of our swimmers as we had athletes competiting at both Harrow International School and Rangsit University. Both meets ended early due to bad weather, so mother nature is still not being kind.

We are going to attempt the Jr. Palooza this Thursday as the weather forecast looks better. If your plans have changed and you can swim this Thursday, then please sign up today.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) we will have the Super jr and Jr Panther Palooza at the 25m pool right after school. This is the first time we have had a meet of this kind, so we are super stoked to see how it goes.

Important Notes:

Speeding tickets for last week:

Pippen and Gene broke a combined three 11&12 year old records at the Sr. Palooza. Emma K. broke a pair of 15 & over records on the weekend at Rangsit University, while Matts broke a 13 & 14-year-old record also.

Matts (Rangsit Meet) and Nunnapat (Harrow Meet) also were awarded first place for Individual High Points for their age groups.

Congratulations to all of you!

Swim-a-thon coming up:

Next Tuesday after school we will run our annual fundraiser Panther Swim Team “Swim-a-thon”. Please look for a separate email with the pledge sheets and details of this event.

Every year we raise a substantial amount of money for Last Chance Bangkok and Habitat for Humanity. Let’s please keep this tradition going.
