We have an unusual schedule for swimming next week, so I wanted to review some details:
Monday: Team Pictures, 3:45 at the high school (cafeteria)
Please wear a blue Wyoming shirt for the picture. I have picture envelopes in my classroom (many swimmers already got them at practice). They are also available in the WMS office. You do not have to order pictures to be in the team photo!
We will NOT have practice after pictures.
Tuesday: Time Trials, 4:00, Powel Crosley YMCA bubble (Warm-up for swimmers at 4:00; start swimming at 4:30)
Please use Team Unify to sign in or out of this event as soon as possible. We also need five more timers for this event! I know this is a difficult time of day, so we will accept high school siblings who want to embarrass their middle school brother or sister, as well! =)
Swimmers will compete against each other in all 4 of the 50 yard events. These times will be used to make relays as fairly as possible. It is important to only use in-season times for relays in order to be fair to all swimmers and their experiences.
Practice as normal Thursday, 11-21; Monday, 11-25; and Tuesday, 11-26. No practice on Thanksgiving!
Our first meet is Wednesday, 12/4. Please confirm your swimmer's attendance at that meet no later than Wednesday, 11/27. I will not enter swimmers who are not signed into the meet. Next week, I will send separate meet details to those who have confirmed attendance.
