Swimmers & Parents,
Please know that every swimmer is dearly missed by me and the coaching staff at AAC. I look forward to getting back to normal as quickly as possible.
I feel a strong obligation to do our part during these trying times and abide by the "Safer At Home" mandate. Plus there are a lot the liability issues of workouts not being under my direct supervision, or worse trying to hold a supervised workout and someone get sick or transfer the virus to home.
That being said, there is a need to keep some normalcy, stay in shape and continue to move forward. I have uploaded a home workout sheet for 12 and Under to our website's documents tab that everybody should read ...it may be all you need or want. Form, supervision, safety and skill appropriate workouts are paramount. EVERYBODY should watch the Fast and Fitter presentation. I have also uploaded 5 West Point dry land workouts for the more advanced athletes to the documents tab (alter to your skill level). You should be continuing to do your shoulder band routine. If you have access to a pool, contact me personally for some things to do.
