Breaststroke, backstroke, freestyle, fly,
We’re so excited, we could almost cry!
It’s not the season we thought it would be,
But we have some great news that we want you to see!
Gator families, we hope you are well,
It’s time to SIGN UP! Join us! It sure will be swell!
We are thrilled to announce that all returning Gators will have access to Menlo Pool this summer for six weeks. In order to give as many swimmers the opportunity to participate, we are hosting three two-week clinics. You may register your swimmer for more than one clinic session.
Session I: July 20-July 31
Registration Deadline: July 17
Session II: August 3-August 14
Registration Deadline: July 31
Session III: August 17-August 28
Registration Deadline: August 14
Note: There will be fewer coaches at practice sessions compared to normal summer swim practice. Therefore, in order to ensure swimmer safety, the clinics are designed for swimmers who have previous swim league experience. For now, returning PAC swimmers will have priority when registering. If additional spots remain, we may offer our clinic to other local swim teams or new members who are able to pass the deep water test at Menlo Pool.
The cost per swimmer is $30 per session. You will also need to purchase a Menlo pool membership for your child which will be $55 per swimmer for the summer.
Please click here to purchase your Menlo Pool membership. If you do not have an account on the borough website, you must create one first. Sign in to your account. Click on register and 2020 Menlo Aquatics Center Membership. Scroll to the very bottom of the page and you will see the PAC individual membership to add to your cart.
PAC and its members must adhere to all social distancing guidelines set forth by Menlo Pool:
There will be specific instructions on how to enter and exit the pool.
All swimmers will be required to enter the facility wearing a mask, check-in at the front desk, then head to the assigned area.
Bags and belongings will be kept in designated family unit squares/pods on the grass.
Nobody is allowed on the concrete area, only athletes and coaches.
All athletes must show up in their swimsuit and leave in their swimsuit. Locker room use for changing purposes will not be allowed. If you need to use the bathroom, you must wear a mask and there will be a limit to the number of people in the restroom at one time.
No deck changing will be permitted either.
You will be asked to sign a waiver during registration agreeing to these guidelines in order to keep our swimmers and families safe. Parents will be permitted to enter the pool during practice times but must remain in the designated family areas/pods on the grass.
We are allowing a 15-minute break between sessions for transitions to limit the number of people entering and exiting the pool at one time. Due to the condensed time frame and safety guidelines, PAC will also limit the number of swimmers in each lane. The coaches are working on ways to maintain distance among the swimmers during practice.
When registering, you will need to review the three practice tiers and swim requirements for each tier. The coaches will be reviewing the registration to make sure your swimmer is in the appropriate clinic group and will contact you if they feel a change needs to be made.
The following tiers will meet Monday-Friday at these times each day:

White: 9:30-10:30 AM
