Spring Registration

Registration will open Thursday, March 11th at 7am

SAC is pleased to resume practices at the Springfield High School pool!  This spring we will offer multiple options for your children as we make our way back into the water and prepare for competition.  We will be offering pre-team, water polo, swimming, and an option to do BOTH water polo and swimming ($40 savings).

The goal of our spring program is to get our athletes back to having fun, getting in shape, and resume healthy aquatic activities.

Our final meeting with the school district is March 16th, but we will be limited in our over all numbers therefore we will need to put a cap on our various registration groups.  Please be mindful in registering quickly before spaces run out.

Masks will be required in all indoor spaces except for when swimming or playing in the pool.

No parents will be allowed for either swimming or water polo in order to keep under our allotted numbers. Drop off only for swimming and water polo!  We will assess allowing pre-team parents closer to our start date.

Water Polo Team descriptions

14 and under Co-ed Novice Level – All 13 and 14 year olds can compete on this co-ed team.  These players will practice Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:15-8:00pm.   The teams will compete in games spread out from late March until mid-May.  Most games at North Penn or Wissahickon HS.

12 and under Co-ed Novice Level -  This team will be comprised of any player 12-8 year olds.  The only requirement is that we ask a prospective player be able to swim one length of the pool with ease.  The goal of this program is to teach younger players the rules, strategies, and techniques of water polo.  It’s a great way to keep kids active in the water and stay in shape going into the summer season.  Practice will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:15-8 pm.  This team will be paired with competition on their Novice level during game weekends. Most, games are held at North Penn  or Wissahickon HS.   Also, inter-squad scrimmages will be utilized during the week to advance players’ skills.
