Azots are scorching hot...in many ways!

Despite sweltering heat Friday through Sunday, several AZOTs still managed to improve and some received JO times at the FAST Last Chance Long Course Meet in Fullerton.

Reaching temperatures close to 100° F, this weekend was difficult in terms of staying cool. However, Azot swimmers were still more than capable of reaching the times they expected.

Starting on Friday, this meet was a final opportunity for many swimmers who wanted to have more events during Summer JOs, hence the name Last Chance. Several swimmers took advantage of this meet and achieved their JO Times: Nicole Lin, Brittany Kahn, Karli Thuen, Connor Turnbow-Lindenstadt, Jack Knoell, Thomas Smith, Liam Karas, Roberto Weismann, Austin Beyaoju, Will Hofstadter, and Daniel Tran. Great job!!

These were not the only accomplishments; many Azots dropped time in several events, including two girls in the 8&under age group. These girls were Leora Rose and Lauren Braun, who each dropped in several events.

Thanks to coaches’, swimmers’, and parents’ efforts, we may be as successful in JOs as we were in this meet!

GO AZOT!!!
