Registration for Returning Swimmers will open 2/7/2022.

and will open for New Swimmers 2/15/2022.


 

New Swimmer Information

We are still accepting new swimmers until we have filled the spots and then we will close. We will have a new swimmer water assessment (more information below). If your swimmer is unsafe or can not keep up with their age group, coaches will let you know at the end of the first week of practice and you will be issued a full refund of you registration fees.  Please look over the requirements for the team below including the meets. Note this is NOT swim lessons. 

Swimmer Assessment

Please be aware that any swimmer, returning or new, that joined the team after 2019 will be required to swim a Swimmer Assessment to be sure they will be able to swim safely in their practice group. These assessments will be help on March 28 in the afternoon and April 2 in the morning (the time is TBD). If it is deemed by the coach that this is not possible you will receive a full refund.


We will need to see a copy of your Swimmer(s) birth certificate.

2022 Highlands Sharks Swim Team Fees and Responsibilities

  1. Registration Fees

Fees shall be payable as follows

  • Highlands Swim Club Members:
    • 1st and 2nd Swimmers in Family $270.00 (each)
    • 3rd Swimmer in family $245.00
    • 4th and additional Swimmers in family $220.00 (each)
  • Highlands Swim Club Non-Memebrs:
    • 1st and 2nd Swimmers in Family $380.00 (each)
    • 3rd Swimmer in family $355.00
    • 4th and additional Swimmers in family $330.00 (each)
  1. Volunteer Commitment

All meet duties and responsibilities are filled by parent volunteers.

All parents must sign up to work shfts as follows:

  • 4 Regular Shifts (approx. 2 hours each) per swimmer (subject to change)
    • Volunteer shifts are the parents' responsibility NOT the swimmers'
  • The Board will assign duties to those parents who do not sign up for required volunteer shifts.

Refund Policy

If a swimmer withdraws from the team, registration fees will be refunded, less the cost of swim gear, as follows:

  • Prior to the end of the first week of practice (May 6th, 2022), will result in 50% refund of fees paid.
  • Withdrawal from the team after May 6th, 2022 will result in forfeiture of all fees paid.

If coaches determine a swimmer is not a fit or the swimmer does not make the team, 100% of swim fees, less purchased swim gear, will be refunded.

** Special circumstances may be submitted in writing to the Highlands Swim Team Board for consideration.
