A. If you are a new swim
team parent, click on "Start Registration" link located on the
right menu under Sign In section.
In addition, we have a Facebook page and a Twitter account for our team. These are
used as a place to post pictures, information about events, meet
results, etc. Click on the links provided and "Like Us" and "Follow
Us" to stay up-to-date.
If you need to contact our coaching staff or our
Parents Advisory Committee, click on "Our Coaches" link to find
their contact information. You can always use our "Contact Us"
A. If you are moving from
another team and your child is registered in USA Swimming, you must
fill in the Athlete Transfer - Transfer team-to-team form and
give it to your coach. Please be aware that the swimmer will be in
an "Unattached" status for 120-days period which will not be able
to be part of relay teams.

required in order to attend future meets including home meets. Your
YMCA membership, US Swimming membership, and swim team membership
will continue been charged by the YMCA.
Without a valid payment
method, you will not be able to register your swimmer to any meet,

to comply with this validation.

Once you add the credit card or ACH, you must

permission to change certain data. To change the information you
require, login into the website, and click on "My Account"
menu option on the right side menu to expand menu, and then click
on "My Account" link to edit your account, click on the swimmers

A. Yes. Each meet has
different fees that are based on a number of different
factors. The length of the meet, location, type of meet,
number of events your child is entered in etc. We will detail
meet fees for each meet available when the event is created in our
website. We have to pay the hosting team for these fees
before meet, so there is no refunds once payment is submitted. This
is a FGC policy.
A. Once you register
your swimmer to attend to a swim meet, and coaches approve and send
the entries file to the hosting team, an invoice entry will be
generated in your account detailing the amount to pay. Credit card
on file will be charge the 1st of
the following month. ACH (bank account), charges will be
reflected the 10th of the following month.
A. You can speak with your
coach before or after practice or by emailing them at their address
listed under the Coaches section on the website. Please do
not try to speak with the coaches during practice to prevent

still open, go back to the event committment section and make your
changes. Once swim meet entries have been sent to the meet host,
they cannot be changed or
transfer to other events after they have received the entries from
a team. You can do a deck entry if there is space
available in the event
and entry fees could be
twice the amount of the regulat fee. Deck entries can only be done the day of the
event before the meet starts, and you must let your coach know
which deck entry you want to do.

IMX stands for IM Extreme and IMR stands for IM
Ready. During each season whenever you swim an event the time
is registered on the USA swimming web site. Different times
score different “power points”. The faster the
time the higher the power points are for each swimmer. For
each event (distance and stroke) swimmers are ranked locally and
nationally depending on these power point
To have an IMR or IM ready score, the swimmer
needs to swim all the events that are appropriate for his/her age
group during each season. Then a score is calculated on the
web site and the score is compared to other swimmers of the same

For 10 and under swimmers the events are:
100 free, 50 back, 50 Breast, 50 fly and 100 IM (Short course) or
200 IM (long course).
For 11-12 year olds: 200 free, 50 back, 50
breast, 50 fly and 100 IM (sc), 200 IM (lc).
For 13-18: 400 free (lc) or 500 free (sc),
100 back, 100 breast, 100 fly and 200 IM.
