Interested in joining YSSC?  Here is the guideline that you will need to pursue a spot on the BEST YMCA Swim Team in the entire country!   We have a place for every SWIMMER!!

• First, decide which location best serves you – Middle Tyger YMCA (MTY) or the Thomas E. Hannah YMCA (TOM).

• Once that is decided the following coaches are who to contact at either locations
  • MTY – Coach Wendy, WVINEY@spartanburgymca.org 
  • TOM – Coach Bart, BARTS@spartanburgymca.org

• Email the above coaches to setup a time for the placement swim.  During the placement swim, the coaching staff will be evaluating the 4 competitive strokes and placing them in a group that will best serve their needs as a swimmer to flourish in our program!

YSSC is looked at by USA swimming as one of the best developmental programs in the entire country.  The Staff is dedicated to the sport of swimming and to each and every child in our program (350+).
