This clinic is designed to help prepare swimmers for Dolphins tryouts in May as well as other swim team tryouts.
Madison Swim Association is hosting a swim clinic for aspiring competitive swimmers. This is a chance for non-year-round swimmers to get a chance to brush up on the skills needed to successfully navigate swim team tryouts and get ready to excel in summer swim leagues!
Due to the nature of the clinic, we will be hosting tryouts at Dublin's Indoor Pool starting at 3:30 on:
Monday April 5 for ages 6-9
Tuesday April 6 for ages 10-13
(weather date to be determined)
Swimmers must be able to complete 25 yards of freestyle and 25 yards of backstroke unassisted to try out for the clinic.
The Swim Clinics will be held April 19-23 for ages 10-13 and April 26-30 for ages 6-9. The swimmers will be learning and perfecting the different stroke techniques. This clinic is NOT swimming lessons. The cost for the clinic is $50. The clinic will be held in the outdoor pool, which is heated, from 3:30-4:30.
Please visit www.madisonswimming.org for further information. This clinic is being run by MSA not Dolphins.
Notes for the Clinic: Each swimmer will need a pair of goggles, swimsuit, towel, and their own water bottle (please clearly label the water bottle). Due to Covid restrictions, parents will not be allowed inside the indoor pool area for tryouts but are welcome to wait in the parking lot at Dublin Park. If the indoor pool garage doors are open, you can easily observe from outside the pool area. For the actual clinic, the heated outdoor pool will be used and the bubble will be down. Covid protocols put forth by Dublin will be followed by all swimmers and coaches.
