West Point Summer Swim Camp
The Army Swim Camp enables swimmers to develop all areas of their swimming and gain personalized instruction from the Army West Point Swimming Staff and other professional swim coaches from across the USA. Camp will include developmental and advance skill work in all 4 strokes, turns, starts, and finishes.
“The Army Swim Camp at West Point is a one-of-a kind experience for all swimmers. Campers will learn the skills necessary to take their swimming to the next level, in and out of the pool. Three daily swim sessions are focused on the most up-to-date technique instruction; teaching all four strokes, starts, and turns. Our professional staff will also expose athletes to “hidden training;” nutrition, goal setting, dryland training and much more. All camp sessions and a wide variety of extracurricular activities will take place on the hallowed grounds of the United States Military Academy.” -Mickey Wender Head Swimming & Diving Coach 2007—Present
Location - The academy will be held at Union College in Alumni Gym, an 8-lane, 25-yard pool
