Refund, Training and Volunteer Policies

Refund Policy

Families are eligible for a refund up until the 3 weeks after the 1st practice of the current year. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the SACAC Board. After this time, SACAC will not issue refunds.

The only exception to this policy is a medical situation that results in a swimmer/diver missing a minimum of 4 weeks of practice. In such a case, a doctor’s note is required and must be submitted along with a refund request to the SACAC Board within 2 weeks of the medical occurrence. The refund amount will be determined by the Board. 


Training Group Policy

Coaches will evaluate swimmers and determine the most appropriate practice group for each swimmer. Please do not make requests for changes in swimmer practice groups.  Swimmers are only permitted to practice with other groups with an explicit invitation from the head coach.


Volunteer Policy

Parental involvement is the key to the success of SACAC. Each family is asked to volunteer for a minimum of four (4) meets (including time trials), however, team size may dictate additional assistance above this number.

There may also be additional volunteer positions available which would fulfill volunteer requirements outside of meet duties and these will be announced as needs arise.

Volunteer sign up for a meet job for each meet. The meets are posted within the Events section of our team website as available. To get the job you want, be sure to sign up early!

Volunteer activity will be tracked electronically and families not completing the requirement will be assessed a $100 fee at the end of the season. Athletes will not be able to start the next swim/dive season with the team until this fee is paid.
