Head Coach - Senior Group
Coach K began his coaching career in 2001 with Peters Township Swim Club. He has been with Bethel Park since 2004 and has been the Head Coach since 2013. Since his coaching career began, Coach K has coached numerous Zone, Sectional, and Junior National qualifiers. His favorite part of coaching is watching young athletes grow and succeed into not just great athletes, but great people! David is an ASCA Level 2 certified coach and is working to complete his level 3 certification
Coach Kutrufis was a member of the Bethel Park Recreation Team for 7 years and the WPIAL and PIAA championship teams during his 4 years in of high school. Coach K graduated from Bethel Park in 1999 and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from California University of Pennsylvania. In 2012 he earned his Masters Degree in Reading Education from the University of Pittsburgh. Coach K is a 6th grade social studies teacher at Neil Armstrong Middle School in Bethel Park. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, fishing, watching the Pirates and running (occasionally) :)

Coach Kelly graduated from Moon High School in 1997 where she was part of the four time WPIAL champions and 2 time State Champion teams. She continued her swimming career as an All-American at Westminster College, graduating with her degree in Elementary Education in 2001.
Kelly has been with Bethel Park as an age group coach and high school coach since 2006. Prior to that she was an assistant high school and age group coach with Pine-Richland Aquatics. She was an AMS Zone Coach from 2002-2008 and the head zone coach in 2008. Coach Kelly is currently a first grade teacher at Northside Catholic Assumption School in Brighton Heights.
When not at the pool Kelly enjoys running, reading, coloring and traveling to Seneca Falls, NY and Sarasota, Fl.
Coach Kelly's favorite thing about coaching is being able to see athletes finally achieve their goals after a long year of hard work and training.

Head Coach - Silver & Bronze Groups
Coach Jane was born in Hastings, England and graduated from City of Birmingham Polytechnic in 1980 with a degree in Foreign Language in Business. She swam for St. Mary's School and Baldslow Swim team from 1970-1975. She moved to the United States in 1998 with her husband and two daughters as her husband's job transferred him to the States, initially for two years, but they are still here!
From 2000-2013 Coach Jane was the head coach of the 8 and under team. In 2013, after some group adjustments, she became the head coach of the Bronze and Silver team coach, and is also the Aquatics Supervisor for Bethel Park Recreation, organizing the swim lesson program.
She is also the proud mother of two daughters, Susi and Charlotte, both of whom represented Bethel Park at WPIALs and States, swam at college, and Charlotte qualified to swim at the British Olympic Trials in 2012.
Coach Jane knows the positive impact swimming can have on a child from personal experience. It brings self-confidence, teammates who are friends for life, a healthy lifestyle, self- discipline, and it opens doors that you did not even know were there.

Coach Kathy is a 1994 graduate of Bethel Park where she was a 4 time WPIAL and PIAA qualifier. She continued her swimming career for 3 years at the University of Pittsburgh before having to take her senior year off due to injury. During that year she coached the Team Pittsburgh Aquatics age group team.
Following graduation from Pitt in 1998, Coach Kathy was hired to coach swimming at Bethel Park. She has been coaching at BP ever since then, with the exception of a few years away to have her babies.
Coach Kathy lives in Bethel Park with her husband Justin (a BP masters swimmer), and their three children, TJ, Hannah ( who are both on the team) and their youngest son Nathanial.
When she's not coaching, she likes to hang out with her family and friends doing lots of fun things! (and watch reality tv but don't tell anyone that!) :)

Shannon is a 2011 graduate of Bethel Park where she was at WPIAL qualifier and member of the 2008 WPIAL championship team. She is a 2015 graduate of IUP where she earned her Bachelors degree in health and physical education with a minor in coaching, and in 2017 earned her masters degree in health and physical education with a concentration in community health. At IUP she was a member of the club swim team as well as being the club team Vice President.

Coach Michelle started her swimming career at 6 years old with the Peters Township Swim Club. She swam for Mercersburg Academy in high school where she was a member of the Eastern Champion Team, an All-American and National qualifier. Coach Michelle continued her swimming at Allegheny College where she was a 12 time All-American, record holder and team captain. She graduated from Allegheny with a BS in Psychology and Bachelors' Degree in Elementary Education.
Coach Michelle has previously coached at Valleybrook Country Club and Peters Township Swim Club. This is her third year at BPR and she is the proud mother of three daughters, Madison, Emma and Kaitlyn, When she is not coaching or at a meet, Coach Michelle loves to cook/bake, hang with family and friends, bike and run with her girls, walk with Bailey the dog, and her favorite escape hands down is the beach in Sarasota Florida. Coach Michelle is also a regular participant with the BP Masters Swim Team. Coach Michelle says " I'm thrilled to be a part of the BPRST family!!! Swimming has always been such a big part of my life. It taught me discipline, hard work, team effort, dedication, determination and heart. I love being able to give back and be a part of the swimming world by encouraging our swimmers to find the best in themselves.
It is awesome to see the swimmers progress and even better to watch them accomplish their goals. Soo important to be a TEAM and have fun!" GO HAWKS:)

Assistant Coach - Bronze Group
We are excited to continue to have former BPR swimmer Emily Eiben on our staff! Emily began her swimming career as an 8 and under with Coach Jane and continued her swimming career with almost all of the current BPR staff (Coach Kathy, Coach Kelly and Coach K). Emily is a 7 time BPR record holder and a 4 time WPIAL and State Qualifier in high school. She was a member of numerous Sectional Teams and was invited to participate in the AMS Select Trip to Colorado in 2010.
After graduating from Bethel in 2011, Emily continued her swimming career at Division 3 powerhouse Denison where she achieved NCAA "B" cuts in the 200 fly all four years. She graduated in 2016 with Cum Laude Honors with a degree in Psychology and Economics. She recently began working for UMPC in the Human Resources Department.
When she's not working or coaching, Emily likes to work out, eat, cuddle with her dogs and spend time with family and friends.

Annie is a 2008 graduate of State College Area High School where she swam for State High, Big Cat Aquatics, the AquaLions and the Park Forest Bullfrogs.
After high school, Annie continued her education at Penn State Behrend in Erie, PA where she played water polo and swam. At Behrend, Annie became an 8-time school record holder, an All-American water polo player, and in her senior year was named Female Athlete of the Year. Annie graduated in 2013 with a degree in psychology.
In college, Annie coached for Eire Aquatics Club and the Park Forest Bullfrogs. Following graduation, Annie continued her coaching career at Penn State Behrend where she assisted the head swimming and water polo coaches with all aspects of Division III athletics. After leaving Erie PA, Annie coached at Upper Perkiomen YMCA outside of Philadelphia. When she moved to Pittsburgh in the spring of 2016, Annie started working at Shaler Area Swim Club. She spent two years there before moving to the South Hills and joining Bethel Park. Annie is excited to now be apart of Bethel Park swimming.
Annie and her husband Andy recently had their first daughter Edith this summer!
