Volunteer Requirements
The continued success of Pittsburgh Elite Aquatics relies on the voluntary contributions of our membership. In order to maintain high level coaches, consistent practice times, and an overall high level of training, it is imperative that families volunteer their time and energy to help PEAQ successfully run meets and fundraisers throughout the year. Posted below is an overview of our "Volunteering" requirements for each member. Please review and contact us if you have any additional questions!
Pittsburgh Elite Aquatics will host several meets during the 2017-2018 season. These meets serve as our primary fundraisers and families are required to help work them as timers, judges, runners, concession workers, etc.
Below is a list of anticipated meets and dates with the required participation for each meet. A session refers to a morning, afternoon, or evening - typically about five hours. Your family is responsible for working the required number of sessions designated for each meet. If your family is unable to work the required sessions, it is your responsibility to find a replacement. Failure to fulfill this obligation will result in a $100.00 non-participation fee per session short of the required number of session. The meets and volunteer requirement are as follows:
